1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FinInsight ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FinInsight is an intelligent SEC financial report analysis application that allows users to:

  • Search and browse latest SEC filings from US public companies
  • Generate AI-powered analysis reports in 14 languages
  • Collect favorite companies and track their filing updates
  • Receive notifications when favorite companies release new reports
  • Export analysis reports in PDF format and copy content
  • Access original SEC documents directly from the app
  • Filter reports by type (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) and MAG7 companies
  • View comprehensive financial insights and risk assessments

3. App Usage

  • No account registration or login required to use the App
  • Favorite companies and analysis history stored locally on your device
  • You are responsible for backing up your own data
  • Internet connection required for SEC report retrieval and AI analysis
  • Core browsing features available when cached data exists

4. Subscription and Payments

  • New users receive 2 free AI analysis credits
  • Premium subscription provides 100 AI analysis credits per month
  • Premium features include PDF export and content copying capabilities
  • All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
  • Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

  • Access or attempt to access non-public SEC data or systems
  • Use the service for market manipulation or insider trading
  • Generate or distribute false financial analysis or investment advice
  • Violate any securities laws or regulations
  • Attempt to overwhelm the service with excessive requests
  • Share your analysis credits with other users
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or community standards
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
  • Use the service for commercial purposes without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

  • Generated AI analysis reports are yours to use for personal investment research
  • SEC filing data is public domain information provided by the US government
  • The App's source code, design, and AI models remain our property
  • You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of the App
  • Analysis reports may be exported and shared for legitimate research purposes
  • Commercial redistribution of analysis reports requires written permission
  • We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you

7. Privacy and Data

  • Your privacy is important to us - see our Privacy Policy for details
  • We collect minimal data necessary for App functionality
  • SEC filing data is processed through secure encrypted AI pipelines
  • Company favorites and analysis history are stored locally on your device
  • Your investment research and company interests remain confidential
  • We do not share your personal financial research data with third parties
  • You can delete your local data through the app settings

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • AI-generated analysis is for informational purposes only, not investment advice
  • We are not responsible for investment decisions based on analysis reports
  • Analysis accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed
  • SEC data availability depends on government services and may be interrupted
  • Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for premium features
  • Past performance and analysis do not guarantee future investment results

9. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time
  • Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of new terms
  • Significant changes will be communicated through the App
  • You can always find the latest version in the App settings

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the App at any time
  • We may terminate your access for violations of these terms
  • Upon termination, these terms remain in effect for past activities
  • Premium subscriptions may be cancelled according to Apple's terms
