4. Data Storage and Security

  • All your favorite companies and analysis history is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage
  • No personal financial analysis data is transmitted to our servers
  • AI processing is done securely with encrypted communication
  • Your device's built-in encryption protects all stored data
  • Only you have access to your favorites and analysis history
  • Data remains on your device even when offline
  • You can delete all data by removing the app

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We DO NOT collect, store, sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • With Apple for in-app purchase processing only (no personal analysis data)
  • With AI service providers for SEC report analysis (encrypted SEC filing data only, no personal data)
  • When required by law (though we have no personal data to share)
  • Anonymous analytics data only (no personal content or identifying information)

Your company favorites, analysis history, and personal financial research data never leave your device. We have no access to your personal investment activities.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

  • Full control over your data since it's stored locally on your device
  • Remove individual companies from favorites or clear analysis history within the app
  • Clear all app data through the app's settings
  • Export analysis reports using iOS sharing features
  • Delete all data by removing the app from your device
  • Manage notification preferences for new filings in app settings

7. Data Retention

  • Local data: Retained while the app is installed on your device
  • Company favorites: Stored until you remove them
  • Analysis reports: Stored in your analysis history until you delete
  • Subscription data: Kept until subscription expires or is cancelled
  • Usage analytics: Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months
  • Support communications: Kept for 2 years for service quality
  • Deleted data: Permanently removed within 30 days

When you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

FinInsight is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

9. AI Analysis and Financial Data

Generated analysis reports are created for your exclusive use and are not shared with other users or used for training purposes without your explicit consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
